The Community Council owns a modern comfortable village hall at Hirwaun in which the council meet and this is where the council office is presently based .The public are welcome to call in when the clerk is present if they have an enquiry ,but as the office is only open part time it would be wise to make an appointment.

In addition to the Council's office the village hall has a large meeting hall for large groups and a smaller lounge for group meetings. It is there the local council meet on the second Thursday of the month (except August ) at 6.30pm. The village hall has a fully equipped kitchen and plentiful private parking to the rear. The hall is available in total or in part for hire.

The local Council also own buildings known as the old fire station in Hirwaun. These buildings are presently on lease to the Hirwaun and District Gardening club, who use the premises to promote gardening in the locality and provide keen gardeners with a shop facility for gardening equipment.

The Gardening club in turn use the Village Hall every August Bank Holiday for the very successful Annual Garden show.
